The Fall months are considered shoulder months on Maui and the Real Estate activity tends to slow down. Add in the turbulent financial markets and we are seeing a slow down in Real Estate sales. The good news is that property values are holding fairly steady. There has been some slipping in sale prices, but nothing too drastic to be alarmed about. There are currently 293 properties under contract and moving through escrow. The average days on market for residential is 174, which is normal for Maui.
