Are we seeing a change in the tide? As we review the Maui Real Estate Statistics for July, 2011 there appears to be a slight up tic in the Market, both in number of homes sold on Maui and the average price of those homes sold. Comparing January to July 2011 to the same period last year we observed the number of Residential units sold rose +4%, the average Sale Price rose +2% to $780,230, and the total dollar volume rose +6%. Condo Sales did not fair as well, and Land Sales were down -5%, while average Sale price rose a whopping +18% , and total dollar Volume for Land Sale soared +13%. There are some mixed results, however the overall inventory of properties for sale on Maui Real Estate Market shrunk by  10% in the last six months.
