Check out this cool site that is rich in all kinds of information about the ocean waters of Hawaii. Hawaii Ocean Observing Systems (hioos) is a work in progress. It is currently a site that is chock full of data on Water Quality, wave Conditions, Beach and Ocean Conditions, Erosion. There are even a few data points that are Real Time Observation. They are constantly improving and expanding the capability of hioos, so it is fun to check in and see what is new. This is a wonder site to bookmark to keep you in the loop on what is happening in the waters that surrounds us.
